Dr. Shabnam Pournazari is a Senior Research Scientist and Team Lead at Nano One, committed to changing how the world makes battery materials.
Before joining Nano One, Dr. Pournazari researched corrosion challenges to help prevent the degradation of structural materials. She focused on oil and gas installations, marine renewable energy, and the pulp and paper industry. Seeing how climate change and air pollutants accelerate corrosion fueled her passion for the environment. By 2021, she transitioned to clean energy by joining Nano One.
