Vancouver-based Nano One has developed a new method for
producing cathode active material used for the positive side
of lithium ion batteries. In 2022, it purchased one of North
America’s few operational battery material production hubs in
Candiac, Que., and has since retrofitted the plant to use its
“one-pot” processing technique.
